Charles, Hatty & Daisy

Harriet Schiele (Hatty) began her journey as a young rider at age 13.  Ever passionate about the sport, she attained Candian Pony Club B2 level, and successfully competed in the junior hunter, equitation, dressage (to Prix St. Georges), as well as amateur hunter divisions throughout her riding career.

To fulfill a life long dream, Hatty and husband Charles opened the 40-acre Renaissance Farm in Farmington, Minnesota in 2009.  The farm enabled the Schiele's to expand their equestrian pursuits to a full time operation to include carefully selected breeding of quality horses, and starting/bringing along young horses correctly, enabling them to develop and mature, then introducing them to their next life in the show ring confidently with little fanfare.  Indicative of her great success in doing so, Hatty received the prestigious USEF Hunter Breeding Leading Owner award in 2016.

Charles has retired from a successful corporate life, instead now supervising all aspects of the hay crop, farm/barn maintenance, and builds jumps as well.
